SD-WAN Industry Development Forum was held in Beijing  on 11 September 2019. At the event, the Committee on SDN/NFV/AI Standards and Industry Promotion under the China Communications Standards Association (CCSA) awarded certificates to the first service providers, total solution providers and equipment providers who had passed the “SD-WAN Ready Test”.

SD-WAN as an emerging favorite that is driving digital transformation, and the diversity of service models among industry users has been increasing. Inconsistent standards among SD-WAN products, however, have given rise to a number of problems in the deployment and operation of SD-WAN. 

This has made it extremely difficult for users to appropriate SD-WAN products. Therefore, the SD-WAN Ready Test initiated by the Committee on SDN/NFV/AI Standards and Industry Promotion aimed at gaining compliance with the latest SD-WAN standards, and technical compliance among all the players in the industry.

HKT has been a keen supporter of the SD-WAN Ready Test, and experts from the project testing team have already completed a multi-dimensional technical assessment of HKT Managed SD-WAN Service. 

They verified the functions of HKT Managed SD-WAN Service in supporting automatic deployment, business visualization, application recognition, load balancing, dynamic routing and multi-application strategies. In addition, they made a comprehensive verification of HKT’s ability in service operations and maintenance, SLA ability, service availability and service scalability. 

HKT passed all verification scrutiny in every aspect. This test demonstrated that HKT has a comprehensive ability in SD-WAN operation and maintenance, and is able to provide enterprise customers with one-stop managed SD-WAN service.

 

Going forward, HKT will spare no effort in driving the all-round development of the SD-WAN industrial ecology.
