Network connectivity is essential for enterprises expandingits business overseas. Likewise, the performance of basic business IT networks, costs and providers’ service are particularly vital to such businessesexpansion. Yet, local operators face a variety of unfavorable factors such asslow capacity expansion, connection delay, more packet loss and absence ofoptimization measures for accessing leading global public cloud servers AWS, Azure and Softlayer,in addition to low speed. This has thus dampened enterprises’ initiatives interms of business expansion overseas. As a modern telecommunication hub, HongKong is well positioned to serve as a “super-connector”.
